The Second F Of The Three F’s For A Website – The Frequency

I get asked this question a lot: If there’s only one thing I should focus on as a coach on my website, what is it?  So, I’m going to answer it for you in this video.

Let’s get into it.

Hey, this is Jamie, founder of Technology for Coaches, and in today’s video, it’s all about your website as a coach.  What’s the single thing you can do as a coach for your own website to help you grow your business online?  The simple answer is frequency; the very simple answer is frequency.

What do I mean?

I mean being frequent with putting valuable content on your website.  Now, that may sound very simple, but the question you’ll need to ask yourself is who’s my target market and what is value to them?  Now, you likely know that answer, but if you don’t, you want to spend some time getting that right first, because once you know who you help, and the type of value you can bring to them, the content should be pretty easy to start creating because what I hear quite a lot is, “Well, I want to add a lot to my website, Jamie, but I don’t know what to write about.” or “I want to record videos, Jamie, but I don’t know what to record about and what the topics are going to be about.”

Putting Valuable Content For Your Website

But, once you’re very clear on who you’re helping, then the content should flow quite easily.  From where?  Usually from questions that you talk to people about day in and day out.  If you’re talking to your target market on a regular basis, you will get questions asked for you and they can be the content for your videos.

Today, this question specifically, I get asked more than once a week by coaches when they’re trying to work out, well, how can I start growing my online?  Should I spend three hours on Facebook, should I spend time in LinkedIn, should I spend time on this?  The answers might be yes for some of those, but the answer is no if you don’t have a solid platform, a solid foundation, if you will, for your own website, which is putting valuable content out there.

I talked in another video about social media, about why you shouldn’t spend so much time on social media, but social media can be a really good channel to spread out the value that’s on your website, to attract more people back to your website, to be able to present your offers to them.  So, it’s all about frequency.
